Calling All Acolytes
Starting Aug. 18, Chi Rho and CYF will serve as acolytes in the 11:00 a.m. service. Please email or call Hayley or call 816-333-4917 ext. 250) to sign up for a date.

August 5-11, 2013

 

August 11 - Games and ice cream.  Meet in the Youth Center for games and ice cream. Parents and families are invited to stop by between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.for a "Meet and Greet" so we can get to know each other. Hayley Holt will also be hanging out in the Parlor between services on Sunday if you want to stop by then.
 
Next Week
August 18 - School Starts! Gather for a special back to school youth group. Dinner will be served in the Social Hall at 5:30. Then we will head up to the Youth Center until 7:30 p.m. Join us to kick off the year!

 

And Beyond
August 25 - Hunger Games II and BBQ. All youth and their families are invited to play Hunger Games and have some BBQ. 5:30-7:30 p.m., Social Hall.

 

New Fellowship Singers Rehearsal Time

Fellowship Singers, the choir for grades 6-12 will rehearse at a new time starting in September - 10:40-11:00 a.m. All youth are invited to participate regardless of singing experience. Contact Michael Patch with questions.

 

Attention: We Need to Provide a Meal

Starting on August 18, we will provide a meal at the beginning of Youth Group/Club Kids.  We need people to sign up for the dates below.  Your responsibility will be to have a meal in the Social Hall for 20-30 people.  It's a great way to serve and get to know some of the young people in the congregation.  Please contact Justin ASAP if you are willing/able to help.

Chi Rho (6th-8th) and CYF (9th-12th) gather for refreshments and announcements in the Youth Center (Rm. 205).  After opening, Chi Rho moves to Room 202 for a lesson.
