"What we begin, others who come after will complete. The good is like the building of cathedrals. Only through faith can those who lay foundation stones hear bells ringing in unraised steeples."

Stewardship Prayer
God of our history; God of our challenging present; God of our hopeful future: you have trusted us with all we have. In this time of thoughtful reflection, direct us as faithful stewards, to provide a place where your word is heard and love and grace abound. You have trusted us not to hide, hoard, or waste our gifts but to share them. Open the hearts of we who have been called to this sacred place to do your work. Give our gifts meaning by trusting us to give them away. Give our gifts value not through accumulation, but through their use. Amen.

What You Begin

More than 40 ministry programs at Country Club Christian Church are possible because people like you live out your faith by making a pledge to the church. Spiritual development, service to neighbor and loving compassion permeate each ministry area. Your annual commitment to the church's operating budget sustains these ministries: Children, Youth and Families, Adult Ministries, Worship and Music, Enrichment, Education, Outreach and Mission Trips, as well as personnel, building maintenance, utilities, and administration. Your pledge, along with the pledges from other members of the church, helps us create the operating budget for the next fiscal year. The programs we can offer, the outreach we can provide, and the impact our congregation can have on its members and others is directly affected by the funds we have available for those purposes. No gift is too small, and all gifts are important and appreciated.

Meet Brian Campbell

Brian sings in the Chancel Choir and is the chair of the Music Council. Join us in worship on Sunday to hear why stewardship is important to Brian.

What you begin with a simple invitation to come to choir one night can lead to an eight-year involvement in a small group that strengthens your involvement with the church community and leads to many performances, special events and other memorable things that will enhance your life.  I came to Country Club Christian Church 14 years ago after moving from St. Louis and the quality of the music program impressed me so much I had to come back.  I started as a spectator in the congregation and then became part of the music program.  One of the best decisions I have ever made.
