It is with great pleasure that the Friedman Memorial Airport Authority (FMAA) announces Chris Pomeroy as the new airport manager.
Following a regional search, FMAA is thrilled to have found this exceptional leader who we believe will seamlessly step into our community and continue the progress we have made over the past several years.
With his own touch, Chris is committed to ensuring that our airport appropriately reflects the community's vision while he helps navigate the next phase of its future.
Chris brings more than 21 years of experience in the airport and aviation industry to his new position at Friedman Memorial Airport. His unique background includes airport operations, aeronautics agencies and aviation planning consulting experience. He is intimately familiar with FMA due to past airport planning work at the airport as a consultant and other aviation planning work as part of the Idaho aviation system over the past several years.
Like his predecessor, Rick Baird, Chris has earned his reputation as a trusted aviation professional who is not only fair, but also has the ability to effectively communicate across a broad spectrum of interest groups. Throughout his career, Chris has developed strong relationships with numerous community representatives and communities, local and state elected officials, local and regional representatives of the FAA, state aeronautics representatives and other industry professionals. He attributes much of his success to open, honest and constant communication.
