* The Arrhythmia Center of Rome
A.J. de Koning, BI Instructor and BI Satellite in Italy, has just opened up the first clinic of its kind in the world - Visit The Arrhythmia Center of Rome website at http://www.centroaritmieroma.it
This started as a case study with A.J. and a Cardiologist using Visceral Manipulation. It has grown into a larger research project, and now this multidisciplinary center that focuses on the treatment of patients with arrhythmia-related diseases. Through the work that A.J. and the Cardiologists are doing at the Center, and with the on-going research, additional important scientific evidence for Visceral Manipulation is being gathered. A.J. is putting together the research paper and we will be working with him to get it published in the U.S. when it is ready later this year.

New Manual Articular Approach DVD Series
This DVD Series introduces a new modality of working with joints developed by Jean-Pierre Barral, DO in cooperation with Alain Croibier, DO.
More than 40 years of clinical practice have led to this innovative approach, which includes working with all the different components of a joint - muscles, ligaments, capsule & labrum, synovial fluid inside the capsule, arteries & veins and nerves.
This breakthrough approach uses the presence of mechano-receptors to work with connections between the joint and the brain. As Jean-Pierre Barral states in his introduction in each DVD, "Speak to the brain through the joints."
The 5-part DVD series includes anatomy, physiology, theory and treatment in a very clear and concise manner to make it user friendly for all manual therapists. The anatomy for each technique is cross-referenced with pages from Thieme and Netter anatomy books for ease of learning.
