Be Prepared for a Great Unit Program
By Attending the Council Kickoff on May 15
Great units plan their annual program over the summer so they're ready to run once the school year begins again. The Connecticut Yankee Council's annual Program Kickoff is designed to give you an opportunity to leave with an armload of information on upcoming events and activities, speak with key volunteers in the Council, hear some exciting changes coming to Council operations and network with other leaders. This event is planned so that all the information is useful and relevant to you.
Connecticut Yankee Council Program Kickoff

If the program and resources aren't enough, there's door prizes too.
All attendees are entered to win an autographed UCONN Football, Basketball, as well as 4 Club Seats to an upcoming game, plus other prizes.
We are presenting a Heroism Award to Nicholas Elio; Meet Charles Flowers, our Scout Executive, and the Council Key Three Leadership; Get a taste of new popcorn flavors coming out this fall; Find out all the exciting stuff coming to Day Camp, Resident Camp and Family Camp!
Get a taste of new Bacon Ranch Popcorn. We're not kidding.
This year we have a special emphasis on building a program midway featuring various Council committees and outside vendors who can help give you the tools and resources to plan an outstanding program for your Scouts. Send two representatives from your unit because there's more great stuff than one person can take back. Plus it's Scouting, so we always encourage the buddy system.
