Color Wheel Expert Advice

We welcome April and appreciate the opportunity to reach your inbox. A quick poll of our customers revealed that sharing tips would be a welcome addition. Today we launch Expert Advice from Color Wheel's team, both here and on Facebook.

Why use Sample Boards?
A portable paint sample is far more useful than applying paint directly to your walls.
  • You can view colors anywhere and at different times of the day. This allows you to see how they're affected by your lighting and furnishings.
  • Each color can be viewed on its own. Looking at many colors at once can be confusing and counterproductive.
For best results:
  • Paint a large sample board (we stock 18" x 24").
  • Cover the entire sample board with two coats of paint and don't forget to label it!
After using sample boards to select your color, there will be plenty of paint in the test pint to try your final choice on the wall.
