And the Winner is...

Congratulations, Caitlin R., our April Savings Certificate winner. Her favorite color is Benjamin Moore's Gray Mirage.

In her own words: "I love Benjamin Moore's Gray Mirage. Despite the name, it's actually a beautiful mix of soft green and taupe. It's nuanced and looks great in so many different lights. I have it in three rooms and it looks a little bit different, and yet lovely, in each."

For your chance to win, simply tell us your favorite specific Farrow & Ball or Benjamin Moore paint color and why you like it. Complete an entry form at our McLean or Fairfax stores, or tell us in an email to newsletter@colorwheel.net. Limit: One entry per person per month.

All monthly entries will be entered to win a $1,000 Shopping Spree at Color Wheel. The grand prize winner will be drawn during our anniversary celebration in the Fall.  Learn more!

Director's Message
We welcome Judith Judy, contemporary abstract landscape artist. Early Spring II is one of her new large works at the gallery. Judith recognizes "our planet is endangered by the domination of rationally-derived industry and technology."

Working with multiple layers of colored glaze, splatters and impasto, Judith's paintings evolve slowly. She creates imagined landscapes with a history. That is a history of her creative process, one that can involve more elimination of what has been painted than addition of new elements.
