Student Schedules

 

Dear Parents and Students:



      We are trying very hard to finish the migration of our database to a new system.  We have staff working around the clock as it is a huge project.  While this is happening, we ABSOLUTELY CANNOT ADDRESS SCHEDULE CHANGES.  We need your help, support, and understanding in this matter.

 

       If you are seeking a schedule change, you must wait until August 2, 8, or 16 when we can meet with you in person.  PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL GUIDANCE COUNSELORS OR OTHER STAFF ABOUT SCHEDULE CHANGES.   Our guidance staff does not work in the summer time and all emails are being lost and unaddressed.  Therefore, it is going to be impossible to help you when we do gain access to our system.



       We have made ourselves available to you for many long hours on the days set aside in August because we want to help you, but please accept that we cannot help you now. 



        I understand fully that you would like to have changes by the used book sale date or in time to pay fees, but we cannot get that done this year because of our system change.  Once we change the system, it will be so much easier for all.

Used Books Sale

 

Our annual Used Book and Uniform Sale will be held July 23, 2016 from 9 am to 1 pm in our Auditorium.  Please check our website, under the Parent's page,  for all information regarding the sale and purchase of used books. Please bring your books to be sold to the main office the week prior to the sale, July 18th thru 22nd from 9 am to 3 pm.  Contact Mrs. Joyner at pjoyner@setonhs.org with any questions.

Update on Student and Parent Information

 

Families should have received a Back to School Letter around July 12. The letter gave information and dates regarding next year's school schedule.  Enclosed in the letter are student schedules and the fee schedule.  Parents should start saving now for the student fees, which will be minimally $230.00 and additional fees for certain courses as well as the $380.00 fee for freshmen and sophomores who will have individual technology devices.  All fees will have to be paid online by July 29 or in person at one of our three scheduled fee days:  August 2, 8, and 16.  We will be collecting fees from 7:00 to 7:00 on those three days.  Parents who wish to pay by credit card must do so by July 29.  After that day, our system will be off as we transition to the new portal.  Parents who choose to pay at one of the August dates must pay by cash, money order, or cashier's check.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PERSONAL CHECKS!

 

Athletics

 

If your daughter wishes to tryout for a Seton sports team next year, she must have a current physical performed after June 1, 2016 on file in the clinic. These forms should be mailed to the school prior to tryouts. Please do not bring them the day of tryouts and hand them to coaches. They are unable to accept them.

Forms can be found on our website www.setonhs.org under Athletics and Admissions. We are unable to accept substitute forms, so please print the physical form prior to your Dr's visit.



Music Boosters

 

Support Seton's Music Program-Redskins Season Tickets Available!

For the past several years, the Seton Music Boosters have had two Redskins season tickets available for purchase where the proceeds from sales have benefited the Music Program. We are offering this exciting opportunity once again this year, with season tickets available in Section 102, Row 7, Seats 15 and 16. Parking passes are included as well.

Latin 2 Students

 

Students taking Latin 2 should save their Wheelock's Latin book, workbook and reader from Latin 1. Any transfer students going into Latin 2, may purchase Wheelock's Latin books on Amazon.com.

 



Carpool
