Christmas Show
|
- Students will follow their regular schedule and attend all classes where an exam is given. Some classes where an exam is not given may still want students to attend to complete final projects, etc. If your teachers request your presence in a non-exam class, you must attend. If you have a study hall or a class where an exam is not given and your teacher has not requested your presence, you do not need to be present in school; however, your parents still need to report your absence.
- We strongly discourage absences during exams. If an absence occurs, the student will make up exams missed during the make-up period. Parents must report absences to the main office. A student who is absent due to illness or a death in the family will not be penalized. Exams missed for any other reason will be assessed a grade penalty.
- Students who arrive late (after 8:15 a.m.) must sign in with the main office before reporting to the exam.
- There will be no supervision provided after 3:00 p.m. during exam week. Students are to be in the cafeteria until 1:30. At 1:30, students will report to the library for study and will then be picked up from the formal lobby. Our recommendation is to make arrangements to be picked up immediately following exams each day.
- NO CELL PHONES ARE PERMITTED IN THE EXAM ROOM. Possession and/or use of a cell phone in any manner will merit a zero for the exam.
- We expect students to uphold the honor code. The sharing of information/material from the exam will be considered a violation of the code and will result in a zero.
- Students are to dress in full and complete uniform for exams.
- All financial obligations must be paid by December 11th in order for students to take exams.

Celebrating the Year of Mercy On Tuesday, December 8th, the Church opened the Year of Mercy in response to the wishes and reflections of Pope Francis. We invite all of you to become familiar with the Year of Mercy by watching this short Youtube reflection. Please click here for video. This is the perfect time of year for all of us to practice the corporal works of mercy: To feed the hungry;
To give drink to the thirsty;
To clothe the naked;
To shelter the homeless;
To visit the sick;
To ransom the captive;
To bury the dead.

Carly '16
Carly was discharged from the BMT unit at Children's Hospital on Monday, October 5. She "rang the bell" prior to leaving the oncology floor which is a significant moment. It signals the end of active treatment and begins a life free of cancer. Carly and her family are thrilled to be home. Carly will go to outpatient treatment for three days a week for the next three months. Last week she did have to stay in the hospital after going in for outpatient treatment. Carly has spent the last week back on the BMT floor but is in high spirits and ready to get back home. The Nguyen's would like to thank the entire Seton community for their prayers, cards, emails, videos, meals and outpouring of love. Carly still has a long road of recovery to travel but with our continued support she knows she can do it! We would love to continue to provide meals for the Nguyen's. It's not too late to sign up at takethemameal.com, search "Nguyen" in the recipient last name box and the password is "7442" to take Carly and her family a meal. This has been a big help to them.
