Parent Meeting
PARENT MEETING - APRIL 11
Dear Parents,
I would very much like to invite all of you to the Parent Club meeting on April 11th at 7:00 in the auditorium. At this meeting, I will be talking with the parents about a vision for Seton that involves our academic growth. This growth definitely relates to the educational enrichment of all students.
At the heart of my talk is the sacrifice and the hopes that I find so evident in the parents of Elizabeth Seton High School. This is an extraordinary measure of the parents' love for their daughters.
Please clear your calendars and take the time to hear about Seton.
I would love to see the auditorium filled as if it were September and we were having Back to School Night. Students are welcome to attend with their parents.
Thank you,
Sister Ellen Marie

Student Service Hours
We are proud of the many service hours our students have completed during this school year and hope that the experiences were both meaningful to our students and helpful to those served. This is a reminder that the final deadline for students to submit service hour verification sheets is Thursday, April 11th at 3pm. The upper portion of the sheet should be completed by the students, and the lower portion should include a printed name and signature from the person who supervised the service work. Only originals will be accepted; no faxed or scanned copies, please. The completion of service hours impacts each student's Religion grade, and is a graduation requirement. Any questions about service hours can be directed to Mrs. Tarnosky at ltarnosky@setonhs.org.

Port Town Youth Council
Port Town Youth Council comes highly recommended by Seton Students.
The Port Towns Youth Council works to improve the lifestyles of the citizens of the Port Town Area including Bladensburg, Maryland. This program offers many enrichment opportunities such as internships during the summer. Participants also receive a stipend for their work and community service hours for several community activities. If you are still an ambassador by senior year, a scholarship is given to the student from the Port Towns Youth Council. This summer, the Port Towns Youth Council worked with the mayor of Bladensburg to improve community by participating in asset mapping. We presented our observations to government officials of Prince George's County. The organization leader, Reverend Gail Addison, an award winning community activist, would like to work with you to encourage and get Seton girls to join the Port Towns Youth Council to help benefit the Seton community.
For more information about the Youth Council this is the website:
