Schedule Change
This is to notify parents that Friday, February 15th will be a Professional Day for staff. There will be no classes for students.
Please Note there are two Basketball games on Friday night against Bishop McNamara, JV at 5:00pm and Varsity at 7:00pm

Re-Registration
Information on re-registration will be available to parents in the parent announce as of March 6. Forms will be due back the week of April 15..

Phonathon
We have one more phonathon to complete. We are looking for volunteers on March 4, 5, and 7th. Orientation Time: 6:20 Phonathon Time: 6:30-8:00 Please email Sister Ellen Marie at ehagar@setonhs.org if you can help. Please help us reach our goal of $25,000.00

Parent Club
Father Daughter Dance - Saturday March 2, 2013
The Father Daughter Dance is almost here! Invitations went home Tuesday, February 12th and tickets go on sale tomorrow, February 14th. Additionally, we are looking for food donations to help make this a successful event. Volunteers are needed to help with the dance. Volunteers would help assemble keepsakes prior to the event, decorate the morning of the dance, or work at the actual event and help with clean-up. The Marion T. "Mr. Bill" Service Scholarship is now available on the website to apply for under the Parent Club Organization. This scholarship is given to an applicant that has completed service above and beyond what is required by the school. Application deadline is APRIL 16, 2013, applications must be complete to be considered. Please click here to view form. We are looking for 2 or 3 parents to help on the scholarship committee. SATURDAY MAY 4,2013......SETON CASINO ROYALE!!!!!This is going to be a fun adult evening of playing some of your favorite casino games! Black Jack, Texas Hold 'em, etc...you don't know how to play??? The dealers will teach you any game you want to learn! Proceeds will go towards the improvement and upgrade of the cafeteria. More info to follow! Keep watching the weekly parent announce! 9th and 10th Grade Parents
From the Guidance Department 9th and 10th grade parents are invited to a parent coffee, on TOMORROW Thursday February 14th in the library at 7:30 a.m. After the presentation, your daughter's counselor will be available to answer any questions you may have.
Ninth grade parents please note that your students recently received their standardized test results from the EXPLORE test they took in October and we finished a series of study skills lessons.

Seton Financial Education Day

Driver's Education
- The next Driver's Education class will extend from March 4th through March 25th from 3:00 until 5:00 daily.
- Six hours of driving will be scheduled independently with each student in addition to the above classroom time.
- The course costs $335.00. Tuition payments must be current in order for a student to enroll in the class.
- Students must be at least 15 years of age. D.C. residents need to talk to the company before signing up for the class.

Make checks payable to Arrive Alive Driving School, Inc. - Tuition payments must be current.
- Students should sign up in Mrs. Burke's office by February 26th.

Spring SAT Prep Course for Juniors
The Guidance Department is coordinating a SAT Prep Course for Juniors to prepare for the May 4 SAT. Please click here to see the attached letter for details. The cost is $300 and is due February 25.

Sophomore Parents
The Guidance Department has created a new program for sophomores and their parents entitled "Sophomore Reflections". This program will provide an opportunity for you and your daughter to meet with Mrs. Lawhorne, Sophomore Guidance Counselor, to reflect on the achievements of your daughter's first two years at Seton and to set goals for her final two years. Senior Parents
If you are applying for the Guaranteed Access Grant.
Your daughter will need a transcript. She will also need a Guidance Counselor Certification Form which also needs to be completed. Both are available in the Guidance Office.
Students will have to log on to MDCAPS at https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us, create a student account, activate that account and then log in to complete the application. Students will still be required to submit their official HS transcript (through the Fall semester of their senior year) and a guidance counselor certification form,
