Guest Mentors
Susie Lee

Susie Lee is an 18 year veteran in the hospitality industry. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Masters in Professional Accounting, Susie quickly realized her passion was in the hospitality industry and not in the
public accounting firm.

After a brief 3 month training at the Marriott Quorum Hotel in Addison, Texas, she opened up with Philadelphia Airport Marriott as the Assistant Controller of the hotel. In the hospitality industry, one has to be able to
relocate hotels in order to advance your career. Therefore, she seized the opportunity to return to Texas and got promoted to the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk and
Rivercenter Hotels as the Sr. Assistance Controller.

Since then, she has served as a Hotel Director of Finance at the Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel in California, the Omni Austin Downtown Hotel and the Austin Southpark Hotel. She is now enjoying her corporate role as the Corporate Director of
Financial Analysis and oversees 45 Omni Hotels and Resorts.
