Good Morning!
Welcome Back!
I hope everyone had a restful and fun summer vacation. The faculty and staff of Peachtree Charter Middle School are excited to welcome back our returning 7th and 8th grade students and eager to meet our incoming 6th grade class. The academic focus for the 2015-2016 school year is to earn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) certification through the implementation of HATponics (Hydro, Aqua, Terra ponics). I look forward to explaining to our community how this system will be used over the course of the school year. For more information, please join us for curriculum night September 10, 2015, at 5:30 in the cafeteria.
We have several events in August that I would like to remind everyone about. On August 12, 2015, we will have a meeting to vote on the renewal of our charter at 5:30 in the cafeteria. The charter is available on our school website (more information below).
We also look forward to seeing everyone at the Parent-Student-Teacher Open House events. This is an opportunity for parents to meet the teachers and follow their child's schedule. Sixth grade is on August 18 and 7th and 8th grade open house is on August 25. Both evenings run from 6:45-8:30.
Again, welcome back to school.
Scott Heptinstall

A vote of approval will be taken that night. Attached is an overview of the changes and additions from the previous charter.
Meeting: Wednesday August 12 at 5:30pm in the PCMS Cafeteria

Schedule Changes
Students who need a schedule change will need to fill out a schedule change form and leave in the box outside the counseling office. Parents can pick up a form from the counseling office area or the main office. Unfortunately, the student will need to follow the schedule they have the first week of school. All schedule changes will be made the first week and once the process is completed the student will be given their updated schedule.
