Our student health projects will be showcased along with our special keynote speaker, Megan Moore Stark, exercise physiologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  Ms. Stark will speak about the importance of physical activity and your children's future.  Our HOPE team of researchers from Ga. State University will join us and discuss the impact that an active lifestyle has on a child's success in and out of the classroom.  And, of course, your child's PE and Health teachers will be there to motivate you and your entire family to BE ACTIVE TOGETHER!  More to come about this great event.

Volunteers Needed for Building Foundations

Building Foundations (formerly known as Peer Proofing) is a unique volunteer activity that allows parents to work directly in the classroom.  It's a two-day program facilitated by PCMS parents during health class.  We show character building videos and facilitate discussion to address issues such as character, stress management, and risky behaviors.  The program takes place during each of the four quarters that students take health.  Our next session is March 12-13.  If you are interested in this program, please contact Elana Morris at [email protected] to set up a time to watch our next session.
