PSAT - 8th Grade
Attention Parents of 8th graders who took the PSAT:
The PSAT Score Results were sent home on Thursday, January 15th.
Students will bring home their Scores Results Plus report, their PSAT test booklet, and 2 handouts (the "Score Report Tutorial for Middle School Students" and "A Parent Tutorial for Understanding 2014 PSAT/NMSQT Results").
Percentiles shown in the bottom of the "Your Results" section compare your 8th grader with all 10th graders who took the test last year. This test should have been hard for our students, since it is aimed at students in the 11th grade.
The next step is to log onto My College QuickStart. Visit collegeboard.org/quickstart and use the access code on the results report. The access code is printed in two places on the results report: in the middle of the page in a blue box on the left of the "Your Skills" section, and on the very bottom of the results report in the blue box in the "Next Steps" section.
Questions can be directed to Ms. Poh at Denise_M_Poh@dekalbschoolsga.org.

Last semester you earned $1079.90 to support PCMS! The next prize drawing will be held
February 6, 2015, so it's time to start turning your Box Tops in again. This is how to do it: - Clip Box Tops from every day products you buy. - Put them in a sandwich bag. - Write your name on the baggie along with grade and homeroom teacher's name. - 20 Box tops = 1 entry
The more you turn in, the better chance you have to win! Place your labeled bag in the Box Tops containers located in the cafeteria, at the school store, and at the security desk AT ANY TIME DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. Any entries submitted between now and February 5th will be eligible for the February drawing.
