Campus Beautification
Student Government Association and the BETA Club are hosting a Campus Beautification Day on Tuesday October 14, 2014 following school dismissal.  We need volunteers who are willing to help beautify the PCMS campus for the Fall Festival and CV Classic.  We will be sprucing up flower beds, removing fallen limbs, and helping to improve the PCMS greenspace.  Please bring gloves and any other yard tools that will help in the beautification process.
PCMS Recycles!

PCMS will be participating in a county-wide recycling pilot program.  We were one of seventeen DeKalb County schools chosen to participate and the only school in the Dunwoody cluster.  From September 29th until October 31st we are in competition with the other pilot schools to see who can recycle the most, based on recycled weight and school enrollment.  Monetary grants and field trips will be awarded to the top scoring schools.  1st place is $2,000 and 3 bus vouchers!

We are recycling throughout the school and are reaching out to the community to ask for help as we strive to be the number one school in the county!  Instead of placing your recycling on the curb in front of your house, bring it to us!  We will accept paper, plastic, Styrofoam, aluminum, tin and steel.  Our new recycling dumpster is located in the back of the school, behind the cafeteria.

Thanks in advance for helping us reach our goal of being the top school. Since we are the only school participating in the Dunwoody cluster, we hope that you will tell all your friends and neighbors to bring their recycling to Peachtree as well!

Let's work as a community to use this wonderful opportunity to both recycle and earn some money for our school!

Support CV Classic at Spirit Events
Registration has been going great for the CV Classic coming up on Saturday, Oct 18Although the deadline has passed, you can still register for 5k but a t-shirt is not guaranteed. There are 2 sponsors who are providing spirit events to raise funds for the CV Classic, so if you cannot run but want to support the cause, here are two more ways you can help.

CARB UP Night at Mad Italian on Friday Night, October 17
The drama club is offering $5 off their $15 ticket if you bring your MAD ITALIAN receipt from the CARB UP NIGHT! So you can support two great events at once!

Saturday, October 18, during business hours, Yogli Mogli Dunwoody is having a spirit day event with proceeds going toward the CV Classic as well.
