A message from the PCMS Foundation Board of Directors:
The PCMS Foundation serves as a 501c3 charitable organization that accepts directed and general use donations to PCMS. These funds are used to support annual operating expenses and other academic initiatives. This year we kicked off the Annual Fund "Can You Imagine? Campaign" and we have raised more than $46,000 to date. Through your generosity, the Foundation has been able to support our teachers by funding their specific grant requests to directly enhance the educational experience of our students. These grant requests have included I-station reading program, art supplies, social studies CRCT review books, math workbooks, academic teams, staff conferences and the 6th grade Summer Bridge program. In addition, $14,000 has supported our school clinic worker. We look forward to the 2014/2015 school year with an even stronger Annual Fund campaign. We are currently recruiting parents who want to get involved by serving on the Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation Board is comprised of PCMS parents, two PCMS teachers and Mr. Heptinstall. Meetings are held monthly - typically the third Thursday of each month - from 7:45 - 9:00 am. These meetings are open to all PCMS parents.
