TAA (Teachers As Advisors)  
on October, 30th

TAA is a state program that provides an informal way to impart information to students about careers, high school & post-secondary school, and social concerns. There will be 6 sessions for the year. Students have an early morning adjusted schedule and resume their normal schedule at 10:45 am.

Scholarship Opportunities

  
There are two potential scholarship opportunities for students made available by the Ladies' Auxiliary to the VFW Post 470 :

The first opportunity is The Patriot's Pen which is a short essay competition for grades 6-8.  The Grand Prize is $5000.00, and the deadline is Nov 1, 2013.

The second is The Voice of Democracy Program Competition for High School Students. The Grand Prize is $30,000, and the deadline is Nov 1, 2013.

BOYS LACROSSE

Dunwoody High's Boys Lacrosse team will be conducting a clinic for all Middle School boys interested in learning more about America's fastest growing sports.    Clinic will be Saturday, November 2 at 11:30, at Dunwoody High.

At clinic we will also begin registration for a middle school team
that will compete against other area middle schools this coming Spring.
