 PCMS Charter Survey - We Value Your Input!

Parents - please visit our PCMS Charter Survey link and let us know your thoughts on the 2012-2013 school year.  We value your input!  

We also value your time.  Don't forget to log your participation in this survey in your volunteer hours.  This will count for at least one hour to be used for this year or next year.  

Just a quick reminder...if you've done any volunteering for PCMS these last few weeks, for example, if you've worked in our Living Classroom, don't forget to log those hours on our website.

The summer math packets are now available online for   

all students.  By the time students return in August, the math teachers expect students to have completed the appropriate grade level math packet and to be prepared   

to take a review quiz during the first week back.

Summer Assignments Available on the DHS website

Summer Bridge for Rising 9th Graders will be August 1st. For more information please contact Dunwoody High School.

Those of you enrolled for Spanish Level 2 at Dunwoody High School are required to complete a Summer Assignment, due the first day of school!  You may access the assignment either from Mrs. Tomaszewski's web page, or go to the high school main page and click on "Summer Assignments."  Be sure not to wait until the end of the summer, it's meant to be completed throughout the summer.

PCMS Summer Registration
Complete Your 2013-2014 Volunteer Hours this Summer! 
Attention all Parents:
There is a convenient way to complete your charter volunteer hours for 2013/2014 before the school year even begins!  We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us with a variety of positions over two different Summer Registration Events:  6th Grade Registration Day, Thursday, August 1st and 7th/8th Grade Registration Day, Wednesday, August 7th.  Working with your child's teachers and fellow parents is a great way to get a head start on the new school year.  It is easy to take a look at the following links and sign-up for any 2-Hour shifts that interest you:

Chess Club-Fall Session


Championship Chess will be offering chess instruction Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm after school. The Fall session is August 29 to October 31. The cost is $120 which includes new Championship Chess software. Deadline for payment is August 27th. For more information, please see the  flyer.
