Loon nest-warning sign campaign
|
One factor contributing to the successful recovery of Vermont's loon populations is the use of floating nest-warning signs. A campaign is underway to help raise funds to replace these old and damaged signs on 48 lakes and ponds around the state. You can support the loons on your favorite lake or pond by visiting the Vermont Loon Recovery Project's Loon Nest-Warning Sign campaign and making a donation.
