$1.85 million raised, Bolton backcountry to be conserved 

About 1,100 acres of backcountry skiing and hiking territory in Bolton will be protected for public use thanks to the more than 1,200 gifts, ranging from $1 raffle tickets to three $100,000 donations from anonymous donors as well as LCI's $6,000 contribution.

LCI Executive Director talks Lake Champlain policy in D.C.
During a trip to Washington DC in early March, LCI Executive Director James Ehlers met with the offices of Senator Leahy, Senator Sanders, Congressman Welch, the EPA water division and had great discussions with the Canadian Ambassador and the Chair of the Great Lakes Fisheries Commission.
