Continuing to achieve local, regional, and national accomplishments, Lake Champlain International (LCI) won a competitive national award for its inspirational tagline "Clean Water. Healthy Fish. Happy People." Fellow competition winners selected from more than 1,400 nominations include internationally acclaimed organizations such as Wounded Warrior Project and Goodwill.
"Such cause and effect is seldom so clearly articulated by environmentalists," said nationally recognized marketing expert Nancy Shwartz.
The tagline was created to communicate precisely LCI's mission to protect the waters and restore the fisheries of the Lake Champlain Basin for the people who depend on the good health of both.
Lake Champlain International (LCI) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization actively involved in shaping the future of Lake Champlain's water and fisheries health for the well-being of the people who depend on it today and tomorrow.
