Volunteering Opportunities
MPA has many great volunteering opportunities for parents. From event support, to team leads, to drop-in activities, we rely on parent involvement all across the school.

School Day Support
Daily activities like car line and lunch/recess support always benefit from parent support. Parents are always welcome and appreciated, and sign ups are not required. Car line runs from 8:00 to 8:35 a.m. in the morning and 3:10 to 3:45 p.m. in the afternoon. Lunch/recess runs from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and parents can stay for one or multiple lunches.

Teams
Volunteer teams are always looking for parents interested in helping in key areas of need/opportunities for the school. Particular needs still include marketing, IT, development, and legal review. Email Ms. Oxley to learn more or express interest.

Meeting Support
Please consider volunteering your time at board and committee meetings to help record and report the conversations to the community. Email Ms. Oxley to learn more or express interest.
Extracurricular Activities

Monsters Hockey with MPA
Join your fellow MPA families for a fun-filled evening of rooting for the Lake Erie Monsters against the Iowa Wild on February 27. Tickets are only $10.00 each and it will be $1 hot dog and soda night; it has never been so affordable for family night at the Q! Download Form.

Poets and Lyricists Wanted
MPA is looking to our student body to create our perfect school anthem. The contest is open to all students across the school. Music will not be required as this will be a separate contest at a later date.

The contest rules are:
  • Length limit: 8-12 lines
  • Should portray school pride, history, traditions, our colors, etc.
  • Original music can be a part of the submission but is not required.
  • Turn lyrics in to Mrs. Macey by February 12.
Entries will be judged by a committee and the winner will be notified on February 18. We can't wait to read all the amazing entries!

A Plethora of Pop Cans Desired
The Glitter Girls Destination Imagination Team is asking the community for help in collecting soda cans. The cans will be used in the DI competition to help build scenery. Families can drop off the cans to the box in front of the office.

Parent Discussion Group
The next Parent Discussion Group meeting will be held on Thursday, February 12. The January one was "snowed out" so the group will pick up with the topics of Perfectionism and Anxiety from December.
