The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) has been awarded a Gold 2013 Quality Healthcare Workplace Award from the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for the hospital's efforts to improve the quality of work-life for staff and the care and services delivered to patients.

Health care organizations from across the province participate in the program, which is meant to raise the bar of excellence for quality health care workplaces. And TSH has definitely raised the bar in 2013! The award has four levels - Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. TSH has gone from a Silver award winner in 2012 to receiving a Gold award in this year's program.
