As a Pharmacist in The Scarborough Hospital's Oncology Clinic for the last 17 years, Allison Jocko has counselled countless patients about their chemotherapy treatments. But never did she expect that one day the person she would be teaching about their medication would be her mother.

Rouge Valley Health System (RVHS) and The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) are seeking feedback from staff, physicians, volunteers, community members and other health service providers on the benefits and risks of a possible merger.

The Scarborough Hospital's Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Care Centre (SA/DVCC) is partnering with Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities to deliver the program's follow-up counselling services for clients.

The Scarborough Strides grand finale - a free action packed community concert - will take place on Friday October 4, from noon until 3 p.m. at Albert Campbell Square. The event will feature performances by Canadian R&B singer and Juno nominee Kim Davis, hip hop duo Perfeck Strangers, and other surprise attractions. 

Scarborough Strides is a unique 12-day active living event hosted by The Scarborough Hospital Foundation to encourage everyone in Scarborough to get moving.
