Go Green Wilmette and the Village of Wilmette present our 8th annual community environmental fair on March 9th, 1 - 5pm at the Woman's Club of Wilmette, 930 Greenleaf Avenue. Recycling from 12 - 4pm at 910 Central Street.
- Attend demonstrations on a wide variety of environmental topics including cooking demonstrations by Farmhouse Restaurant of Evanston.
- Examine nine of the latest electric and hybrid cars and the newest hybrid electric commuter bikes.
- See an actual solar hot water system at work and learn how you can harvest the sun.
- Find tips about growing your own food, reducing your home energy use, sustainable landscaping, making smart water choices and much more.
- Enjoy the expanded interactive "Eco-Zone" on the lower level.
- Relax in the complimentary Go Green Café.
