Scenic Byway Half Marathon & 5K
October 11
Belle Plaine, MN

The Annual Scenic Byway Half Marathon & 5K gets underway Saturday, October 11th, in an effort to continue supporting clean-up efforts of a 61 acre site on the banks of the Minnesota River Valley along the northern edge of Belle Plaine, Minnesota.

The races start at Court Square Park in Belle Plaine and continue along the Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway Loop.  Both the half marathon and 5K courses are USATF certified and chip-timed, making this race a great, competitive running opportunity among the peak-of-harvest beauty along the Minnesota River Valley.  Registration and information can be found online here.

ALS Superhero Dash
October 11
St. Paul, MN

Channel your inner superhero desires and join us at Lake Phalen (a certified course) in St. Paul for our 5k/10k Dash on Saturday, October 11th.

Check-in begins at 8:30AM, Kids' Dash at 9:40AM and the run/walk will begin at 10:00AM. For those wishing to participate, register online at alssuperherodash.com. Participants are invited to dress up and run in the attire of their favorite superhero!

Walk-up registration the day of the event is $35 for the 5k and $40 for the 10k. In addition to the entry fee, we are encouraging runners to fund raise to support the programs and services provided by the Chapter.  Further details about fundraising are provided on our website.

We will be offering a Kids' Race, too.  Registration will be $10 per child (age 10 and under).

Two of our programs in need of your superhero fundraising efforts are our Durable Medical Equipment Loan Pool and the Hrbek-Sing Communication and Assistive Device Program.  We currently have individuals on waiting lists for equipment from both programs, so the money raised from this event will assist us in fulfilling these outstanding equipment needs.

Be a SuperHero and join us in raising money to help those individuals and their families who are battling ALS!
