The NILE is proud to partner with Special Olympics for the fourth year, to increase awareness and help raise money for Special Olympics with the Bull Bounty event Thursday, Oct. 15 during the first of three, NILE PRCA Rodeo nights.
This year's NILE Bull Bounty sponsors include Columbus IGA, Crystal Lounge, Electrical Consultants, Inc., EPC Services Company, Johnstone Supply of Billings, Holland & Hart, Montana Peterbilt, NAPA Auto Parts of Billings and NAPA Auto Parts of Columbus.
Sponsors will be matched at random with a bull and its rider. If the cowboy can stay on the bull for the full eight seconds, the cowboy wins and the sponsor will donate $400 to Yellowstone Valley Area Special Olympics (YVAR). If the bull can buck the rider off in under eight seconds, the bull wins and the sponsor will donate $600 to YVAR.
All of the money raised from the Bull Bounty event stays local and helps support over 300 Yellowstone Valley Athletes. The funds also help cover costs of travel for the Montana Special Olympics State Games in Missoula next spring.
