Forsyth, MT--Saddle up and head out to Forsyth, MT Friday, July 17 for the Rosebud-Treasure County Fair Ranch Rodeo at 7 p.m.

It's rodeo action but better! Contestants that enter this rodeo do these events in their daily work lives. They are the ones working the land and do what has to be done to raise livestock on the ranges of Montana.

Anything can happen...and probably will! The competition is fierce and fast. Teams race against the clock for the fastest time in wild cow milking, bronc riding, team doctoring, mugging and sorting events.

The winning team from this rodeo will be qualified to compete in the NILE Ranch Rodeo Finals Oct. 14 during Rancher's Day at the NILE. This is a big incentive for many of the competitors because the venue is large, indoor, and has instant replay on big screens. More enticingly, the winner from the NILE Ranch Rodeo is eligible to compete at the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo, Texas.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Purchase at rosebudcountyfair.com or at the gate of the Forsyth Fairgrounds.

The NILE is proud to have the Forsyth Ranch Rodeo as one of sanctioning partner because they too work to preserve and embrace the western lifestyle.
