BILLINGS, MONT. - 2014 Marks the 10th year for the NILE Raffle Horse Program. Each year, one of Montana's foremost horse producers has generously given a filly to be raffled off in support of the many NILE Programs.

The 2014 Raffle Horse is Chachs Little Pistol, or "Belle', donated by Kent Blough Quarter Horses of Wilsall, Montana. "Belle", the 2011 Filly sired by the Dual Pep stallion, Muchacho Dually going back to Smart Little Lena on the bottom side, is an outstanding representation of the quality of horses given through the program since it began in 2004. Belle spent the past summer at Big Sky Performance Horses in training with Travis Young in Absarokee, Montana.

Displayed throughout NILE Week Tuesday, October 14 through Saturday, October 18, NILE attendees had a numerous opportunities to see "Belle" at work. Spending her days on display at the Trade Show, working cattle during the Ranch Rodeo performance, featured one evening during the PRCA rodeo and demonstrations at Horse Extravaganza in the Ford Super Duty Arena, spectators were given ample time to see her perform.

This year's Raffle Horse winner, drawn during the NILE Gold Buckle Performance Horse Sale, is Melissa Batters of Bozeman, MT. Melissa can definitely count herself lucky as her ticket was the one drawn from a total of $8471.00 total tickets sold throughout the year.
