Entry Deadlines Draw Near for 2013 NILE Stock Show

BILLINGS, MONT. - This year the 46th Annual NILE Stock Show & Rodeo will take place October 15-19 at MetraPark in Billings, MT.  Currently the NILE is taking entries for all youth and open livestock shows.  The entry deadline for the NILE Stock Show is September 16.  Late entries will be taken by October 1.  To enter the NILE Stock Show go to www.thenile.org where entries can be made online or forms may be downloaded and sent in to the livestock office.

This year the NILE will host a total of 24 livestock shows through a combination of youth and open shows for the following breeds: Dexter, Shorthorn, AOB, Jr. Fed (Swine, Lamb, and Steer), Galloway, Hereford, Club Calf, Red Angus, Angus, Texas Longhorn, Merit Heifer, Gelbvieh, Balancer, Lowline, Miniature Hereford, and Supreme Show (Over-All Grand Bull & Female).  In addition there will be livestock sales for:  Gelbvieh-Balancer, Club Calf, Jr. Fed Sale of Champions, Red Angus, Black Angus, and the NILE Gold Buckle Horse Sales which includes a Weanling/Yearling Sale and a Performance Horse Sale presented by First Interstate Bank.  All sales will be broadcast online for viewing and bidding through www.CattleInMotion.com.

"We added an a day to this year's show due to the increase in livestock entries last year,"  says NILE General Manager Justin Mills.  Cattle shows will begin on Tuesday, October 15 and will conclude on Saturday, October 19 with the final drive of the Supreme Show sponsored by Little Horn State Bank held during the Saturday night PRCA Rodeo.
