| Success in 2012 |
2012 was a year of great and mutual success for V.i. Labs and our customers. Thank you for helping to make 2012 a banner year. Results include:
- CodeArmor Intelligence reached another major milestone by enabling customers to generate more than $200 million in new license revenue since its introduction in 2008.
 Industry support also grew in 2012, with customers sharing the results of their CodeArmor Intelligence deployments with Amy Konary, Research Vice President, Software Licensing, Provisioning, and Delivery at IDC. The results of these interviews were included in the IDC white paper, Information is Power: Combating Software License Misuse and Overuse with Intelligence.- Data from a sample of CodeArmor Intelligence deployments revealed that the top 20 geographies for license misuse and piracy included the United States, Korea, Germany, Russia, France, India, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and Thailand - all regions where license revenue recovery rates are high and software vendors have been able to expand their customer base (see below for a heat map showing the top 20 software license misuse and piracy hotspots).
