DOM Equipment News
As most of you already know, we are launching 104.7FM Denver Open Media Radio on June 3rd!  So this month we thought we would feature audio equipment you can use to create podcasts, music or other radio content.

The Zoom H4n Handy Recorder is ideal for recording interviews, lectures, rehearsals, meetings, and more. This palm-sized unit packs the ability to record up to four channels of audio at greater than CD quality.

The Zoom R24 Digital Recorder combines a 24-track recorder, audio interface control surface capability, drum machine and sampler functions. The Zoom R24 is great for live and studio applications.

The Blue Yeti USB microphone has three custom condenser capsules and four different polar pattern settings - cardioid, stereo, bidirectional and omnidirectional.

DOM's Logitech USB microphones have no drivers to download and no worries. That's easy plug-and-play from this USB desktop microphone.

Finally, the Akai LPK25 MIDI keyboard features miniature but playable keys and a small size that is perfect for a backpack. With the ability to run on USB power, it may be all the keyboard you need for your projects.

Check out these and other equipment at denveropenmedia.org/equipment.

DOM Producer Profile - Maurice Washington

Executive Talk

Meet Denver Open Media member Maurice Washington - Denver native, business consultant, and producer of the show Executive Talk.

"The back-end aspect of any show I do is 'you are your business,'" explains Maurice. "Any and EVERYTHING you think about yourself, what you think about business WILL show up in your business. The show's intent is to talk about those crevices that create the most impact or destruction to your overall mission in your business."

Maurice found Denver Open Media when he was looking for a way to extend his consulting practice.

"Denver Open Media has provided a platform to reach more people at once."

"There is a LOT of stuff on television and radio right now that's not necessarily the truth," Maurice explains. "Denver Open Media is a way for the truth to get out there and help someone have breakthrough in their lives."
