CENTRAL / SOUTH TEXAS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
ANNOUNCEMENT: Austin - Kennedy Wilson announced that Charles "Butch" West, CCIM has joined KW Properties Group of Kennedy Wilson as Managing Director of Brokerage. Butch will be leading the division's marketing and brokerage expansion plans in Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas.
ANNOUNCEMENT: San Antonio - CBRE is pleased to announce that the Renaissance Plaza was awarded "The Office Building of the Year" (TOBY) award at the San Antonio Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) annual awards ceremony. INDUSTRIAL: San Antonio - Lennox Industries, Inc. has leased 14,761 SF of industrial space at Interwest Business Park in the Northwest submarket of San Antonio. The tenant was represented in the transaction by Joe Carroll of Cavender & Hill Properties, Inc. Jason Schnittger and Michael Flowers of Stream Realty Partners served as leasing agents for the property, representing the landlord, DRA Advisors, Inc.
OFFICE/RETAIL: Austin - AWS Village, Inc. has purchased the West End Center, a mixed-use retail and office project. The two-story building at 1214 West 6th Street totals 50,132 SF, and at the time of sale was 94.4% occupied. The seller, Whit Hanks Properties, was represented by Walter Saad and Cathy Nabours with CBRE's Private Capital Group; and Eric DeJernett and Bryan McMurrey with CBRE's Retail Service Group in Austin. The buyer's representative in the transaction was not disclosed.
OFFICE: San Antonio - Webster University has leased 10,504 SF of office space at One Castle Hills, located in the North Central submarket of San Antonio. Ryan Harrison of Stream Realty represented the landlord in the transaction. The tenant was represented by Ben Crawford of Jones Lang LaSalle.
NORTH TEXAS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
INDUSTRIAL: Dallas - Merc, LLC purchased 9 warehouse buildings totaling 51,285 SF of industrial/flex space located at 5127 & 5131 Mercantile Row in Dallas from Mercantile Don Mar, LP. Michelle Hudson, SIOR, CCIM with Hudson Peters Commercial represented the Seller. Henry Miller III represented the Purchaser.
INDUSTRIAL: Dallas - Cequent Performance Products, Inc. has leased 178,200 SF of space at 4445 Rock Quarry. The space will be used for the relocation and expansion of existing DFW distribution operations. The tenant was represented by Travis Sapaugh, Seth Kelly, Ryan Keiser and Nathan Lawrence of CBRE Dallas in conjunction with the CBRE Detroit-based account team of Mark Collins and Kathy Rinna. The landlord, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America, was represented by John Leinbaugh with IDI Dallas in the transaction.
LAND: Southlake - Dallas MTA, LP has purchased 25.12 acres of land located at the NE Quadrant of HWY 114 & Dove Rd., Southlake. The buyer was represented in the transaction by Marty Neilon and Jim Whitten with CBRE Dallas. The seller, Maguire Partners-Solana Land, LP, represented themselves.
OFFICE: Dallas - AFS Technologies has completed a 5,031 SF office lease at 14901 Quorum Drive, Dallas, Texas. Nathan Denton and William Blake represented the Tenant in the transaction. The Landlord, Carr America, was represented by Ryan Evanich of Stream Realty Partners.
RETAIL: Arlington - Chris and Betsy Sheidler have leased a 53,000 SF building located at 4905 South Cooper Street in Arlington, on the southeast corner of Oak Village Blvd. and South Cooper Street for their Cooper Street Antique Mall. Christopher M. Gibbons, Ken Reimer and Katie Vance of Venture Commercial represented Sheidler in the lease negotiations. John Zikos and Chris Booras, also of Venture, represented the landlord, Sams Dice Arlington, LP.

OFFICE: Houston - The Brandt Companies has leased a 33,150 square foot office/warehouse space at 13810 Hollister, Suite 100. The tenant was represented by John Ferruzzo, SIOR and Michael Keegan of NAI Houston. Rives Nolen of Insite Realty represented the landlord, Eastgroup Properties, in the transaction.
RETAIL: Houston - A California based trust in a 1031 exchange has purchased Park Row Plaza, a 9,380 square foot shopping center located in the heart of Houston's Energy Corridor at 14838 Park Row. Derek Hargrove and Justin Miller, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Houston office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private Houston based investor. The buyer was also secured by Miller and Hargrove.
