NORTH TEXAS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

ANNOUNCEMENT: Dallas - Trammell Crow Company has announced that Jake Marks has been appointed to Senior Vice President within the Company's Dallas-Fort Worth Business Unit. In this role, Marks will focus on industrial development including land acquisition, construction, financing, and entitlement of projects in the Dallas Fort Worth Area. Previously Marks served as a First Vice President within CBRE's Industrial Leasing group, where he was responsible for marketing and leasing commercial industrial properties in the Central and Southwest Dallas submarkets.

 

 

OFFICE: Dallas - Caddo Holdings, LLC has purchased two Uptown office buildings, 3500 Oak Lawn and 4245 North Central Expressway. The two buildings total 188,893 SF. Creighton Stark, senior vice president and Ben Lurie, senior associate in Collier's Office Investment Sales group represented both the seller, California-based M West, and the buyer.

 


 

INDUSTRIAL: Carrollton - Iron Mountain has purchased a 288,000 SF industrial building located at 1800 Columbian Club Drive, Carrollton, TX. Jack Fraker, Josh McArtor, Jonathan Bryan & Heather McClain Venegoni with CBRE represented the seller, Clarion Partners, in the transaction. The buyer's representative was not disclosed.

 

 

 

INDUSTRIAL: Arlington - MS2 Investments, LLC, purchased an 18,323 SF food processing plant and refrigerated distribution center at 730 N Great Southwest Parkway in Arlington.  Ed Frieze and Mark Hajdu of Triumph Commercial Real Estate negotiated the sale with David Sours of CBRE.

 
OFFICE: Dallas - Invesco Real Estate has purchased Trade Center I, II & IV, three state-of-the-art, Class A industrial buildings total 1.4 million SF. The three properties are located at 2700 Regent Boulevard (Trade Center I) and 2520-2525 Esters Boulevard (Trade Center II & IV) in a master planned business park with excellent access to Highways 114, 121, and Interstate 635. Jack Fraker, Josh McArtor, Jonathan Bryan, and Heather McClain Venegoni with CBRE represented the Sellers, Bentall Kennedy and the Trammell Crow Company, in the transaction. The Buyer's representative was not disclosed.
SOUTHEAST TEXAS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
ANNOUNCEMENT: Houston - Seacoast Commerce Bank announced the opening of its 11th Small Business Administration ("SBA") Loan Production Office, located in Houston, Texas and the hiring of Jim Wilkie, Senior Vice President, SBA Business Development Officer, to manage the new office. Mr. Wilkie is a CCIM and has over 20 years of banking experience, predominately in commercial real estate and SBA lending - all in the Greater Houston market.
MULTIFAMILY: Houston - Fairfield Woodway Square, LLC has purchased Woodway Square, a 595-unit, Class A, garden-style multi-housing community located at 1200 Winrock Boulevard near the intersection of Woodway Drive and South Voss Road in Houston's Galleria area. The HFF investment sales team representing the seller, Alecta Houston, LLC, was led by senior managing directors Craig LaFollette, Todd Marix and Todd Stewart along with directors Tre Banks and Chris Curry. HFF's debt placement team representing the buyer was led by managing director Andy Scott.
LAND: Houston - Coldwell Banker Commercial United, Realtors announces the sale of a 51,539 square foot tract of land located at 10680 Jones Road. Randy Connell of Coldwell Banker Commercial United, Realtors represented the seller, Huan Minh Tho Bui and the buyer was JKC Investments.

  

INDUSTRIAL: Pasadena - Locke Investments, a concrete product manufacturing company, has leased approximately 27,500 square feet in the Santa Fe Business Park in the Gulf Freeway/Pasadena submarket. Chase Spence of Cresa Houston represented the tenant in this transaction. The landlord was represented by Scott Wilkerson of Garver Real Estate Investments.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Houston - The Board of the North Houston Economic Development Council (NHEDC) announces that they have hired a Director of Economic Development to help grow the organization in the coming year. Stacey Osborne, who was the Economic Developer for the City of La Porte until late last year, will be working with the NHEDC to strategize its future operations in the North Houston region.

CENTRAL/SOUTH TEXAS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

MULTIFAMILY: San Antonio - A private investor has purchased Arcadia Place, a 16-unit apartment property located at 216 Arcadia Place in the Alamo Heights area of San Antonio. Zar Haro, Michael Moffitt, Jr., and Moses Siller, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Austin and San Antonio offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer's representative in the transaction was undisclosed.

RETAIL: Cedar Park - Five Below has leased 7,642 SF at Lakeline Plaza (northwest quadrant of Hwy 183 & RR 620 in Cedar Park). Cole Brodhead of Retail Solutions represented the landlord in the transaction. The landlord was undisclosed. Jeff Townsend of Edge Realty Partners represented the tenant.

INDUSTRIAL: Austin - HID Global Corporation has purchased a build-to-suit high tech manufacturing facility for HID's national consolidation into Austin. The facility will be located at 617 Center Ridge, Austin. The 195,000 SF building stands on a 22.76 acres parcel. John Barksdale and Mark Emerick with CBRE in Austin represented the buyer in the transaction. Live Oak Gottesman represented the seller, Centerstate 99, Ltd.
