Provider Symposium Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente East Bay a Success
The SLI California Concussion Coalition held its first provider symposium on the West coast. Over 165 medical professionals gathered in Oakland, CA, on February 9 for "Concussion: What You Don't Know CAN Hurt You." The eight hour program provided continuing medical education credits and focused on evidence-based care for the brain injured patient in a provider's given practice.
SLI thanks Coalition co-chairs Cindy J. Chang, M.D. and Eric J. Freitag, Psy.D. for making the event possible, and Coalition member Kaiser Permanente East Bay for sponsoring the event.
