Girl Scout Junior Troop 40315 of Canandaigua made a stunning 10-foot planter bench for a contemplation garden on the grounds of the Veteran's Administration in Canandaigua. The garden honors veterans and active duty service personnel, and is supported by the Blue Star Mothers of America, New York Chapter #1.   Each girl also made a decorative stepping stone.  They planted two dwarf blue spruce in the bench and 72 annuals in the garden with proceeds from a can drive held for that specific purpose.   The project was done for the Girl Scout Bronze Award! Congratulations girls!
