Fun and Learning at CAMP CEO
From planning events for Girl Scout Brownies using the True Colors personality concepts, to preparing meals together, sharing leadership success stories, and more ... more than 30 teen girls and 30 adults gathered at Camp Comstock near Ithaca over the weekend for our third Camp CEO.

| Earn the Mental Health Awareness Patch |
 The International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF) has created a patch program for all Girl Scout age levels to learn about the impact of mental health, discuss the stigma, learn about successful people who have experienced mental illness, research how mental health is portrayed in the media, and create anti-stigma campaign activities.

 Girl Scouts is throwing a party and you can join in via a livestream telecast as the National Young Women of Distinction are celebrated. The telecast will come from the Edith Macy Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY on Wednesday, October 7, 6:30-8 p.m., EDT.
The National Young Woman of Distinction honor is given to recipients of the Girl Scout Gold Award whose final projects demonstrated extraordinary leadership, had a measurable and sustainable impact, and addressed a local challenge that related to a national and/or global issue. In 2016, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scout Gold Award!!! |
