June is Outdoor Month
Who loves the outdoors? We do!
Girl Scouts have been enjoying the outdoors for more than a century, ever since Juliette Gordon Low assembled the first troop of girls in 1912.

June is Outdoor Month...so unplug and get outside!

We were so grateful to receive all of the emails about Alissa's acceptance into Girl Scout Camp this Summer for the Camper Sampler program starting July 12th at Comstock in Ithaca, NY.

We do not need to cancel for any other program as we did not register for any other program. As my husband stated in his original email, between his, mine and her CRAZY work and "play" schedule.. this was her only completely free week. His travel for the government ties up most of our free time which is a great learning experience. However, on the flip side, she needs to experience the great outdoors and loves arts and crafts! So we are so excited--as well as she is --that the Camper Sampler is now available!

We had a FULL ON family dance party when I read them both the news from my email! The three of us danced for 20 minutes straight and then she proceeded to call all of our family and her friends to share her exciting news and to thank them for buying cookies because they had officially helped her to make it to her goal. She had "A spot at summer camp. A mom and dad free week!!!!" LOL!!!
