We Have a Winner!
Girl Scout Cadette Troop 49008 of Lyons (Wayne County) received the most likes in our 2015 Facebook Cookie Booth Photo Challenge!
The troop will receive a $50 coupon for the council boutiques.
(A close second: Troop 20588 of Little Falls).  Thanks to all the troops that submitted photos.  All troops that submitted a photo will be emailed a 10% off coupon for the boutiques.

Grants Available for Girls Working on Environmental Projects
 The Syracuse Parks Conservancy announced that Martin Sage Environmental Grants are available for projects that have a purpose of increasing awareness of the environment and of Syracuse parks or green spaces.   Grants are available to adults supervising at least four children in a project.  Your one-to-two page proposal and budget will require a set of details.  If interested, please contact Joanne Arany, senior development manager.
Girl Scout to Hold Celiac Camp Again in 2015
in 2014 Sabrina D. completed requirements for the Gold Award, our highest award for girls, by planning and conducting a weekend camp for children with Celiac disease.  Sabrina will again be holding this successful camp that allows children with special dietary needs to spend time in a camp setting without worrying about the food they are eating.   The camp is scheduled for July 26 to July 29.
Girl Scouts Reflect on Women's History
Girl Scout Troops 40986 and 40482 of Wayne County created women's history panels for the Dream Rocket project.  Their panels reflect women's rights over the past 100 years.
