Gold Award Class of 2014
We continue to highlight this year's Girl Scout Gold Awardees!  
 
Maris K. is a 2013 graduate of Vestal High School, now studying cosmetology. She organized the costume closet for the Vestal High School theater, and obtained much needed costumes and props.
 
Haley L. (photo unavailable) is a senior at Deposit High School. Her project addressed bullying and lack of self esteem in girls. She held an event at school to raise awareness of the problem and educate others.

Volunteer Needed for Girl Scout Leadership Institute (GSLI) Chaperone!  
The Girl Scout Leadership Institute (GSLI) provides girls ages 14 and older with three days of leadership skill-building activities tied to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE).  In partnership with staff, the adult chaperone manages this trip, supports pre-GSLI girl preparation, supports post Take Action activities, and takes part in activities planned for chaperones at the GSLI. If interested contact Karen Strife.

Have you ever wanted to run your own business or be an executive in a growing company? Perhaps learn a bit more about careers you're interested in?  Get a jump start on your future by learning from some of the area's top executives. They will put on their favorite T-shirt and hiking shoes and participate in fun traditional camp activities with you, from canoeing to hiking and more. Through mentoring activities and workshops, you'll get insights into the challenges and triumphs of these women and discover what life is like in their careers.
