Last holiday season, Canisteo Girl Scout Daisy Troop 41071 won first place in the town's decorating contest. The tree was decorated with heart felt "promises," the Girl Scout sign and cookies, topped with a Daisy star. 

LEFT: Girl Scout Troop 30052 of Susquehanna Valley won the student division of Door Decor Wreath Festival design Contest in Endicott this past weekend. Second and third places went to Girl Scout Troop 30921.

FREE Program for Girl Scout Families: Dec 13
2013 program in Auburn
The YMCA of Auburn and GSNYPENN bring you Healthy Eating with Jodie Fitz and Price Chopper. December 13 at the Auburn YMCA. 4-6:30: Open swim. 6-6:30 KIDZ Boot Camp. 6:30-7:30 Snacks, free recipes and hands-on activities. 7:30-8 Family Yoga!  Jodie Fitz has 20 years in community development and children's programming. The program completes several steps of the Girl Scout Brownie Snacks Badge requirements. Program is FREE, but you must register by December 6.  Details  
Apply to be a National Delegate by Jan 3!
If you attended the regional meetings last month, you learned how exciting it is to be a delegate to the Girl Scouts of the USA National Council Meeting. Being held in the fall of 2014 in Utah, the event promises to be energizing as you meet Girl Scouts from across the country!  Delegates can be age 14 or older.  Complete the application form and return to Deborah Spencer by January 3. Application.

ROC the Day is 12.11.13
The Greater Rochester Community is working hard to support hundreds of not-for-profits doing great work and GSNYPENN is among them!  It's 24 hours of unprecedented giving.

New Year's Eve Fun!
