Photo of the Week!

Whitney Point Walking Trail StonesGirl Scout Brownie Troop 30267 in Whitney Point took action as they worked on the Brownie Quest Journey of It's Your World: Change It!  They wrote a letter asking permission to put mile markers on the Whitney Point walking, running and bike path. The letter was shared with the local Rotary, County Parks Department and Corps of Engineers/Environmental Conservation Department.  Earlier in the year they made stones for a local daycare story garden. The girls wanted to extend the project to help the community be even healthier when using the path.

Want your photo seen here?  Submit your clear, good quality photos that show girls in activities (not large group shots) to Kim Dunne
Close ups of those activities make the best shots!
Yours may be selected for our Photo of the Week!
