Gold Awardees:  Gabrielle, Kaitlynn, Megan

Gabrielle S.Gabrielle S. of Parish, NY is attending Mohawk Valley Community College for respiratory care. She organized a pet walk for her Gold Award Take Action project, to raise awareness about animals in shelters. She identified different ways the community can support the United Friends of Homeless Animals.
Kaitlynn S
Kaitlynn S. of Sodus now attends Monroe Community College majoring in hospitality.  To share her love of dance, she held dance workshops for her Gold Award Take Action project to teach young girls about dance and help increase their confidence.
Megan S.
Megan S. of Ava, NY  is a sophomore at Adirondack High School. Her project addressed the poor condition of horse stalls at the Boonville Fairgrounds. By fixing up the stalls and the area, Megan made sure kids who show their horses at the fair for years to come will have a great place to do so.

Comstock Health Lodge Gets Facelift

Our Comstock Program Center has been renovated thanks to the generous donation of George and Sheila Moy Saul. The Sauls, now residents of Washington State, made the donation in honor of Sheila's mother, Mrs. Peg Moy, a resident of Ithaca. When resident camp isn't in session, the lodge will be available for troop camping!
