Gold Awardees:  Nicole, Paige, and Dolly

Nicole PNicole P.(left)  from Corning is now a biology major at Syracuse University. Her Gold Award Take Action project had her creating kits for children with cancer to give them projects while in the hospital. She also created information brochures.

Paige P  Paige P. (right-- and yes she and Nicole are sisters) is also a biology major at Syracuse University. Because of her own experience as a sibling of a child with cancer,  Paige was concerned about these siblings. She made kits for the siblings with fun activities and toys, along with a pamphlet listing helpful tips and websites.

Dolly P
Dolly P. of Remsen is a senior at Remsen Central High.  She worked with the Remsen Performing and Visual Arts Center to make the building handicap accessible so all residents of her community could enjoy the arts.
