Carmen B. of Mansfield, PA learned how to knit hats for her Girl Scout Silver Award project so she could donate them to the American Cancer Society. The 33 hats made took Carmen 4-5 hours each. She attached a personal note to each hat for the recipient explaining her project for Girl Scouts and sending cancer patients hope and prayers.

The 57th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) began this week at the United Nations. On Women's Day, March 8, Girl Scouts of the USA CEO Anna Maria Chavez will speak about workforce readiness and closing the skill gaps as a panelist at the International Women's Day Forum. |
