Linnea K. and Rebecca V. of Girl Scout Cadette Troop 30516 completed requirements for the Girl Scout Silver Award with their project to organize and provide shelving for the Broome County Humane Society. Build-A-Bike 2013
Utica Safe Schools is holding the 8th Annual Build-A-Bike event on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at The Utica Memorial Auditorium.In 2012 they gave away 671 new and refurbished bikes, NEW helmets and t-shirts. The children picked out a bike and brought it to trained bike mechanics from the community who taught the youth how to fix and maintain their bike. In 2013 the group hopes to give away 700 bicycles, new helmets and this year bike locks. This effort can use your help! Flyer
