Girl Scout Alumna Katrina Slaski was featured by Girl Scouts of the USA, through its 100th Anniversary celebration ads with King Features.  Slaski, from Moravia in Cayuga County, has published her first novel! Other local GSNYPENN alumnae featured nationally are Rita Chirumbolo Ernstrom of Binghamton and Christine Osekoski of New York City (originally from Corning).

Thanks to Summit Federal Credit Union, the 2012 PJ Round-Up patches are free to participating girls!  Troops must place your order by December 15 through this link: PJ ROUND-UP.  The link can also be found on the shop page of our website. Be sure any PJs are dropped in our Cicero location, or any Summit branch by Friday, November 30.

The Discovery Center  A wonderful hands-on interactive display. Through March 2013. Binghamton. Add your small item to our time capsule!  Deadline to receive items is January 5, 2013. Drop off to any GSNYPENN service center, attn: Judi Zeamer. If you have questions, please email jzeamer@stny.rr.com. More information to come on closing ceremonies in March 2013 when the time capsule will be sealed and not opened again until 2037!
