PJ Round UP | Ordering Patches
Is your troop collecting new PJs, slippers and robes for women and children in transition? If so, remember donations need to be to the Cicero Service Center or a Summit Credit Union branch by November 30. (If you're dropping off at another of our service centers, please allow time for us to transfer to Cicero.) Thanks to Summit, the 2012 patches are free to participating girls! Celebrating Science for the Next Generation |
Last night (Nov. 13) Girl Scouts were at the New York Academy of Sciences celebrating "Science in the City." The theme: Strengthening the STEM Pipeline: Mentoring the Innovators of Tomorrow. Earlier this year the Girl Scouts Research Institute and the New York Academy of Sciences released "Generation STEM: What Girls Say About Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathmematics," to much fanfare and success. Throughout the week join Girl Scouts on Facebook and Twitter for gala recaps and behind-the-scenes insights from renowned scientists and more. |
