Look for the release of the 2013 Girl Scouts of the USA Centennial Silver Dollar early next year! This is the first time that the United States Mint has produced a coin dedicated to a girls' organization. In 2013, visit www.usmint.gov for the latest information on pricing and availability.

The Town Hall Member Forums will follow the regional meetings being held at each location. Please Note: These meetings are for Girl Scout members only. The town hall portion of the meetings are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The regional meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. with a working dinner. Please RSVP to your local Community Development Managers so they can plan meals. Visit our website for more details on the property study.

What is a webinar!? A webinar is an online training that is facilitated by one of our staff members that you can take from the comforts of your own home. You will need to have internet and telephone access at the same time, because you will be viewing the course with your computer and listening to the presenter via the telephone.

Forever Green PatchThe Girl Scouts Forever Green 100th Anniversary Take Action Project was developed in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency. To date, involvement in the Girl Scouts Forever Green Pledge has resulted in $10,354,370 saved on home energy bills; 237,261,281 kWh of energy saved; 397,876,228 pounds of CO2 eliminated; 196,073,600 gallons of water saved; and 32,598,068 pounds of waste eliminated.  You be part of the results by logging in taking the pledge and inputting your efforts on the Forever Green website through December 2012. (Note GSUSA is off line currently due to the hurricane.)

If you haven't taken yourself, your family, and your Girl Scout troop on a field trip to the Discovery Center in Binghamton, do so soon before the snow flies! The special hands-on exhibit will take you through Girl Scouting's 100 years of fun, from camping to cookies to travel!  You'll be amazed! Don't miss it!
